About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale reliable software systems that power critical business and customer experiences. In this role, you will work across the software development lifecycle, partner closely with product and design teams, and help shape architecture, engineering standards, and delivery practices.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building production-grade applications, writing clean and maintainable code, improving system performance, and mentoring other engineers. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services
• Translate product and business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Write high-quality, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Build and optimize APIs, backend services, data pipelines, and/or frontend applications, depending on team needs
• Participate in architecture discussions and make sound decisions around scalability, reliability, observability, and performance
• Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and engineering productivity
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams
• Contribute to documentation, engineering standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience designing and building distributed systems, web applications, or cloud-native services
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with REST APIs, micro services, or event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of software design principles, testing practices, and version control
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation
• Experience with React, Angular, or modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with messaging systems, caching, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Experience in mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
• Experience in regulated, high-scale, or security-conscious environments

Compensation

For New Jersey applicants:
Base salary range: $105,000 – $145,000 USD annually

Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, business needs, and work location.

• Programming knowledge of Embedded C, Python or C++.
• Server and Networking knowledge will be beneficial.
• Linux and windows system knowledge
• Fluent in English.
